Menu & price list

What things cost

Everything we pour and everything we put on a plate, with the price beside it. Wednesday to Sunday, five in the evening until two.

Drinks

Stirred, shaken, or built to your taste.

The list is short on purpose. If nothing on it is what you are after, tell a bartender what you are in the mood for and they will build it.

  • Cocktails

    $15–18

Including the sazerac people argue about. Bitter, stirred, long, or whatever you describe at the bar — the price does not change because you asked for something off-list.

  • Spirit-free cocktails

    $12

The same care and the same glassware, without the spirit. Built to order like everything else.

To eat, and where to sit

Snacks, tables and the private room.

  • Bar snacks

    from $9

Something to eat while you drink.

  • A table

    Held for six or more

Send the date and the headcount and we will hold it. Fewer than six, walk in — there is usually room at the bar.

  • The private room

    By quote

For a group that wants the door closed. Quoted to your evening rather than per head — tell us the date, the headcount and how long you want the door shut.

More about the room and how to order in it — the room.

Before you come

What people ask on the phone.

Do I need to book?

Only for six or more — those we hold. Fewer than that, walk in. There is usually room at the bar, and the whole point of the room is that you are not being moved along.

Can I get a drink without alcohol?

Yes, and it is on the same list at $12. Same care, same glassware, built to order like everything else. Nobody is drinking a lemonade apologetically in this room.

Is there food?

Bar snacks from $9 — something to eat while you drink rather than dinner. If you want a full meal first, eat and then come.

What if nothing on the list appeals?

Then describe what you are in the mood for. Bitter, stirred, something long, no spirit at all — a bartender will build it, and it costs the same as anything else on the list.

How does the private room work?

It is quoted to your evening rather than priced per head. Send the date, the headcount and how long you want the door closed and we will put a number on it.

When are you open?

Wednesday to Sunday, five in the evening until two. Wednesday to Sunday.
