Weddings
Plated, or passed and family-style. Cooked on site, seasonal, and closer to a restaurant dinner than a banquet-hall plate — which is the whole reason we do this.
Menu & price list
Every number here is a per-person starting point. The dishes themselves get written closer to your date, around whatever is actually in season that week.
Why every line says “from”
A per-person price is a starting point, not a dodge. These are the only things that change it.
Forty people and a hundred and forty are different jobs. More guests usually means a lower number per head, not a higher one.
Family-style platters need fewer hands than a plated dinner with a synchronised drop. Passed canapés need more.
We write dishes close to the date, around what is genuinely good that week. That is the point of the whole exercise, and it moves the food cost either way.
Tastings · $75
Most people booking a wedding have already sat through catered food they did not choose. A tasting is how you stop guessing: you sit down, we cook, and you decide whether this is the food you want in front of everyone you invited.
Book a tasting for $75. If you book us for the event, that $75 comes off your invoice — so hiring us makes the tasting free.

Send the date, the headcount and roughly what you had in mind. We will come back with a menu and a price — and if a tasting makes sense, we will set one up.
Your mail app should have opened with the date, the headcount and everything else already written in — press send, and we will come back with a menu and a price.
If nothing opened, write to events@longtablesonoma.com or call (707) 555-0554, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
