Why the finish holds.
Paint correction is the part nobody photographs well. The swirls you see under a showroom light are thousands of shallow scratches, and taking them out means machine-polishing the clear coat in stages rather than filling them with glaze that washes off in a month.
Interiors get the same treatment. Seats are extracted rather than wiped, vents and seams are cleaned by hand, and the glass is done last so nothing settles on it afterward.
A ceramic coating goes on only after all of that, because sealing a panel locks in whatever is underneath it. Do the prep properly and water beads and runs straight off the paint instead of sitting on it — which is the part everybody notices first.
