The draft, in plain English, read together page by page. Anything that doesn’t sound like what you meant gets changed there and then.

Everything executed properly, and it’s done. It stays done until your life changes, and a review costs $300 when it does.

Why flat fees
An estate plan shouldn’t be billed like litigation.
I spent fourteen years in a downtown trusts and estates group, where the clock ran on everything. The training was excellent. The billing made no sense for this work: a will is a known amount of work, and a known amount of work should have a known price.
So the fees here are flat and printed. You know the number before you call, and it is the same number when you sign.

What people ask before they call.
Do I need a will or a trust?
Most people need the will package. A revocable living trust is a good tool for particular situations and an expensive one for everyone else, which is why the first meeting exists: to work out which you are before anything is drafted.
What’s actually in the will package?
The will, plus powers of attorney and healthcare directives. They are included in every package, not sold separately at the end. $950 for one person, $1,500 for a couple.
How long does it take?
Three meetings and about three weeks, for most people: the conversation, then the reading, then the signing.
I already have a will from years ago. Is it still good?
Possibly. The plan review is $300: I read what you have, tell you what still holds, and price any changes before touching anything.
Do you handle probate?
Yes. Probate and estate administration are quoted after one conversation about the estate, as a number rather than an hourly rate.
What do I need to bring to the first meeting?
A rough idea of what you own and the names of the people who matter to you. The paperwork comes later, and I’ll tell you exactly what’s needed when it does.
