Who walks through the door
One is a deadline. The other is a stain. They need different answers — and you should get yours at the counter, not a week later on the phone.
Problem one
A wedding, an interview, a funeral. The date was never negotiable, and the suit has been hanging in the wardrobe since the last one.
What happens: tell us the day when you drop it off. In before ten and it is usually back the same day; if your date is tight we will say yes or no while you are still standing there, rather than promise now and call you later.
Problem two
Red wine, oil, ink, or something nobody can name. You have probably already tried something at home and you are not sure whether that helped or made it worse.
What happens: point it out and tell us what caused it if you know. We say what we rate its chances at before we start, and we say so again afterwards if it did not lift.
What we do
Everything is priced per piece rather than per bag, so the figure you hear at the counter is the figure on the ticket when you collect. Where a line says “from”, the garment decides the rest — never the day of the week.

Washed, pressed and back on a hanger — folded instead if you say so when you drop them off. Ten shirts is roughly where an order clears $30, which is where pickup and delivery stop costing anything.
